Tornado
Have you ever seen a tornado? We are not sure you have, in real life. Tornado is a terrible storm. It consists of wind. Tornadoes can be a great trouble. They can take large trees out of the ground, destroy houses, and carry cars and buses away.
Once a tornado took a building of a school, turned it around, and then put it back down.
Another tornado took a horse and poor animal travelled a long way.
There once was a tornado in Russia. People saw money falling out of the sky. Where did it come from? The wind was strong enough to take the earth from the treasure. Then it picked up the coins, carried them for a long distance and threw on the heads of people in Russia.
Tornadoes can go up to 320 kilometers per hour and usually last less than an hour. Sometimes “long” tornadoes can last some hours. These tornadoes are very dangerous.
The “killer” tornado was registered in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana in 1925, It was the largest one ever known. The length of “killer” tornado was 354 kilometers and the width was 1.6 kilometers.
